I have enrolled today on a Print Production course at Thames Valley University. :D

and the good news about it so far is that it's even closer to my new flat than my workplace is!

a song for the weekend.
I know this song has been around for quite some time but only now I've listened to it carefully.

It's 9.15am an I'm on my way to get the keys from the agency.
I guess I'm a bit anxious with all this.
I didn't sleep much this night. I had this never-ending dream where I was Amy Winehouse's minder.
My job was to keep her, not from drugs, but from bleaching her hair again.
At the same time I couldn't stop thinking I had to go back to the office to check on my email. I had sent an email from there when it should've been sent from my personal email. would I get a reply? Would I ever see that reply? would I have to wait for monday???
I hate these dreams!
Why can't they be all good?
And then the tour bus (Amy's) stopped somewhere and I went to take some photos to a bizarre garden and my camera was malfunctioning! Grrrrrrrrrr!

3 days to go.
the estate agent told me she would send the contract today so I could read it before signing and I'm still waiting.
a filha da mae!
detesto a malta das imobiliarias...
they wanted to charge me £30 for the collection of reference letters.
£30 for someone to ask my friends, boss and landlord if I'm a good person!
Of course I told her that I could provide the letters, saving some time to that poor miserable person. £30! I just saved enough money for the first bill.
and one thing estate agents should do, is advertising in their shop windows HOW MUCH THEY CHARGE FOR ADMIN FEES. Thieves!
Will anyone have a spare tv set that I can borow, buy cheap or even adopt?...

Turning the page
I have now successfully found a nice flat within the budget I can afford (lets hope so).
It's in a nice location near the office so I won't need to get a £100/month travelcard anymore.
It's so near to my workplace that I will not even need a bike!
The supermarkets, restaurants, shops are near and across the road there's a beautiful park.
I'm very excited but a bit frightened with all this.
I'm turning a page. A huge page. In fact, I think it's a completely new book.
Wish me luck.

Control and Tugas
Yesterday I went to see Control, a movie about Ian Curtis and the Joy Division.
Joy division were never on my favorites list so I didn't knew much about them.
Now I can start paying more attention to their sound and lyrics.
Regardless of whomever the movie is about, It's a great movie. The photography is EXCELLENT. I will definitely see it again just because every frame is a great photo. The movie is worth seeing only because of it's photography.
Even if you don't know who Joy Division were you should see it.
And it was shot in black and white!
The trailer is here although it's a bit misleading on the story-line...
The movie is not as musical or noisy as the trailer shows.
And today I'm going to Vauxhall to a lunch of Portuguese Bloggers in London. I may post some pics later.
Can't wait for some pasteis de bacalhau!

My dearest Zaka sent me one of her blog's t-shirts and a wonderful cake from Madeira.
but the parcel was taking to long to arrive and she payed for express delivery...
You know Zaka, you do have to put a POST CODE and the word LONDON in the envelope...
We know that this is a small world BUT London is a big city! You do need to complete the address!
